The EGS Research Priorities project

Aims:

To develop a list of priorities for glaucoma research involving clinicians and patients from different countries in Europe


Activities:

  • Development of protocol (completed)
  • Survey of patients asking (completed)
  • Survey of clinicians (completed)
  • Face-to-face meeting to prioritise the top 10 research priorities, in order of importance (completed)
  • Identification of specific research questions and PICOs using the top research priorities (Members meeting in Iceland)
  • Drafting of report and submission for publication (late 2023)

  • Achievements:

  • We completed the identificaction of the top research priorities according to patients and glaucoma experts, and submitted the report for peer-review and publication ( a couple of months ago)
