First cascade lecture

The first educational cascade course was recently held in Umeå for residents in Northern Sweden. It was organised by Gauti Jóhannesson, one of the twelve new cascade teachers that received tutoring by Hans Lemij, the initiator of the Educational Cascade initiative. The aim of the Educational Cascade Initiative is to raise the level of education about basic glaucoma diagnostics throughout Europe. Soon Karl Mercieca will follow suit and hold the course in Manchester in England. Hopefully then a cascade of courses will follow throughout Europe!
